Day 4 (Thursday)

On day 4, we will have a free day for you to enjoy Cape Town!

You really can’t overstate the case for visiting Cape Town. First, there’s the in-your-face beauty of a craggy mountain range that drops precipitously into a glittering sea, its flanks carpeted in greens and delicate florals. Then there’s the pristine white beaches lapped by – it must be said – a chilly Atlantic, their curves defined by giant granite boulders to bake on, and burbling mountain streams in dappled forests. And no visit is complete without at least one full day exploring some of the surrounding vine-carpeted valleys, their rich territory spawning not only award-winning wines but superb produce.

Yet Cape Town has a cool urban edge, too: excellent art galleries, hip bars, world-rated restaurants, and design-savvy shops. It's also home to many of Africa's innovative artists and designers, drawn by the city's innate beauty, and with MOCAA the city is now home to the biggest repository of contemporary African art. In short, this pulsating city will leave you hungry for more.

Day 5 (Friday)

On day 5, Discover the wild scenery, unique culture, and rugged coastline of the Cape Peninsula during this full-day sightseeing tour. Once famed as Africa’s southernmost point, the Cape of Good Hope remains an icon for sailors and a spiritual place.

Hike here from Cape Point, where legend states two oceans meet, on this convenient guided day trip by coach. On the way, stop at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony (ticket own expense) to see African penguins and hear the distinctive call which gave them the name “jackass penguins”.

We will also be visiting Seal Island as well.  Seal Island is a small land mass located 5.7 kilometres off the northern beaches of False Bay, near Cape Town in South Africa. The island is so named because of the great number of Cape fur seals that occupy it. It is 5 acres in area and home to 64,000 cape fur seals.
