Guest will arrive into Rio De Janeiro (via GIG or SDU airports) where they will be transferred to the hotel located in Ipanema. Once settled in, Guests will have time to mingle before we have our meet & greet dinner.
On day 2, we will visit Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Selarón Steps, Maracanã Stadium, Sambadrome, Metropolitan Cathedral by van. During our time we will have lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse.
On day 3, we will have a free day! This will be a good chance for you to enjoy the beach, go shopping and enjoy Rio de Janeiro on your own.
On day 4, we will immerse ourselves in one of Brazil's biggest favelas. We will learn about the history from the mouths of the locals. We will get to know the alleys, rooftops, shops, cultural projects with which the locals work, and taste delicious food from local restaurants inside the favela.
On day 5, we will have another free day for you to enjoy the beach and explore the night life of the city.
On day 6, we will get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s biggest parties, during our Samba themed tour. We will see all the work that goes into the week-long party. We'll tour the City of Samba, a warehouse where floats and costumes are kept, and the Grande Rio’s Samba Factory, to learn about the history of samba and how to samba while wearing a traditional costume.
On day 7, we will visit what is known as the “Brazilian Caribbean,” Arraial do Cabo. It is an indispensable place with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, which also has a vast array of sea life.....perfect for snorkeling.
On day 8, we will all pack up and head home after an awesome vacation with the Flight Life Group
