Guests will arrive at O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, where they will be directed to our hotel in the city. Once settled in, guests will have time to unwind, unpack, relax, and mingle before we gather for our meet & greet dinner.
On day 2, we will embark on an exciting safari experience just outside of Johannesburg, where they’ll have the opportunity to see South Africa’s incredible wildlife up close. Expect breathtaking scenery, unforgettable encounters, and plenty of photo opportunities as you explore one of the region’s premier game reserves.
On our 3rd day, guests will visit Soweto, South Africa’s most iconic township and a powerful symbol of the nation’s history and resilience. We will explore significant landmarks such as Vilakazi Street — home to both Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu — and learn about the cultural and political movements that shaped modern South Africa. Expect a day filled with rich history, local flavor, and authentic community experiences.
On day 4, we will start the day with a once-in-a-lifetime experience — walking alongside lions under the guidance of professional handlers. Afterward, the group will visit Lesedi Cultural Village to immerse themselves in South Africa’s diverse tribal traditions. Enjoy live performances, storytelling, and a vibrant cultural showcase that celebrates the country’s rich heritage and spirit.

On day 5, guests will pack their bags and prepare for the next leg of the journey. The group will fly from Johannesburg to Cape Town to continue the adventure in one of South Africa’s most scenic and vibrant cities. Upon arrival, guests will check into the hotel, settle in, and enjoy a relaxing evening before exploring all that Cape Town has to offer in the days ahead.
On day 6 we will have the opportunity for relaxation and exploration at your own pace. Guests can unwind at the beach, enjoy local cafes, or take a stroll along the V&A Waterfront. For those feeling adventurous, consider a cable car ride up Table Mountain or a visit to Bo-Kaap for colorful photo ops and culture. It’s your day to recharge or discover Cape Town your way.
On day 7, the group will journey to Cape Point, one of South Africa’s most breathtaking natural landmarks located within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Guests can expect stunning ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and scenic photo opportunities at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula — where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
On the 8th day of our journey, guests will spend the day exploring some of Cape Town’s beautiful vineyards, surrounded by rolling hills and scenic landscapes. Enjoy guided wine tastings featuring some of South Africa’s finest selections, learn about the winemaking process, and relax over good company and great views in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
Today, guests will dive into Cape Town’s vibrant culinary and cultural scene. The group will explore local markets, sample traditional South African dishes, and discover the city’s unique blend of flavors and influences. Expect a day full of delicious bites, cultural insights, and the lively energy that makes Cape Town one of the world’s most dynamic destinations.
After an unforgettable journey through South Africa, guests will check out and head to Cape Town International Airport (CPT) for their flights home. Take with you lasting memories, new friendships, and incredible experiences shared with the Flight Life Travel Group.

Guests are responsible for purchasing their international flights, which must arrive in Johannesburg (JNB) at the start of the trip and depart from Cape Town (CPT) at the end.
The domestic flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town, which is part of the itinerary, will be included as part of your trip package, so no separate booking is needed for that segment.
