We start our tour with a climb to the top of the old lighthouse near James Fort in Jamestown with a great view of the city and the busy and colourful fishing harbour. later visit the W.E.B. DuBois Centre and Independence Square. Experience the busy Makola Market in central Accra.
On day 2, we start our journey with a visit to Aburi Botanical Gardens close to Accra, one of the most beautiful
and peaceful sites in the area. In the afternoon we will experience the fascinating production site of traditional beads at a beads factory. Take part in a workshop and produce your own beads!
On day 3, Start the day with a visit to the Monkey Sanctuary and enjoy feeding bananas to the cheek monkeys, who have been protected by the local people through an eco- tourism project. Visit a banana plantation on your way. In the afternoon we will continue to the Wli Falls close to Mount Afadjato.
On day 4, we continue our journey to Mount Afadjato in the morning, which is the highest mountain in Ghana. Hike around the area and enjoy the amazing view over the lush, green Volta Region. Continue to Volta Lake to relax with acanoe ride in the afternoon.
On day 5, After a scenic drive with beautiful views across rolling hills we will arrive at Asenema Falls, one of the hidden gems of the region. Learn about the plants and herbs specific to this area during a guided nature tour at Bunso Arboretum Forest Reserve.
On day 6, Continue to the Kente cloth weaving village, Adanwomase in Ashanti region, which carries on the centuries-old Kente-weaving tradition. After learning about the creation of Kente cloth you will be guided through the community and witness how to tap palm trees to produce the local palm wine.
After your breakfast we will take you to the Ashanti King's Palace, which was used by the Ashanti kings until 1974. Take a walk around the historic site and visit the museum. Later visit the 'unmovable' Komfo Anokye Sword, which is said to be a symbol of unity between the Nzema and the Ashanti tribes.

· Your deposit is fully refundable up to 15 days. 50% of your deposit can applied to a future trip within a years’ time of this trip being cancelled.
· 33% of the value of your trip plus your deposit becomes non-refundable 11:59 pm on the 15th day
· 66% of the value of your trip plus your deposit becomes non-refundable on day 30
· The trip becomes 100% non-refundable on/after 45 days
· Any traveler that falls more than 2 payments behind will be removed from the trip and funds will be returned per the above refund policy.
· Refunds can take up to 30 days from the date requested to process.
